Vice Premier Li Keqiang made inspection tour in ASAG and after a review of former Administrator Ren Zhengxiao, he endorsed the establishment of National Grain Trade Center.

February 14, 2014

SCOPSR agreed to set up SAG/GTCC.

September 22, 2014

SAG got approval from the State Administration of Public Institutions' Registration and formerly established the SAG/GTCC.

January 8, 2016

Mr. Xu Shaoshi (Chairmen of National Development and Reform Commission), Mr.Ren Zhengxiao (Administrator of SAG), Mr.Nie Zhenbang (President of China National Association of Grain Sector) and Mr.Zeng Xiao’an (Director General of Economic Construction Department of the Ministry of Finance) jointly launched the National Grain Unified Bidding Transaction Platform. In the meantime, SAG/GTCC and 25 provincial national grain trade centers were officially connected through the internet and put into industrial operation.

June 3, 2016

A week’s grain de-stocking work carried out by the relevant state departments has scored remarkable achievements. On June 3, 2016, a total of 1.863 million tons of various grain was sold through National Grain Unified Bidding Transaction Platform by National Grain Trade Center, representing 2.91 billion yuan in value.

The State Council dispatched an inspection group to supervise SAG’s work. The group also visited SAG/GTCC to guide and inspect grain de-stocking work.

December 12, 2016

SAG/GTCC organized The Marketization of the National Corn Electronic Trading & Special Farmers’ Grain Purchase and Sale in Heilongjiang Province, which is the first national online grain trade platform directly face to farmers, as well as a beneficial attempt to push forward the reform of grain collection and storage system via Internet Plus.

In order to actively adapt to the reform of grain collection and storage system, innovate grain marketing model, set up platform serves the farmer, provide more excellent, effective, convenient services to trading members, with approval of SAG, National Grain Unified Bidding Transaction Platform has been upgraded to National Grain Electronic Trading Platform.

May 18, 2017

The maize de-stocking work has scored remarkable achievements since carried out by state departments concerned. That day 3.562 million tons of maize has been sold through National Grain Unified Bidding Transaction Platform, with close-ratio of 89% and turnover totaled 5.02 billion RMB.
